Being thankful. Today is a reminder to look around and do just that. The Miss Fits often discuss how lucky we are to have each other and to be doing what we are doing. Here are a few thoughts from each one of us today. We hope you’ll share with us some of what you’re thankful for.
Jen: I’m thankful for having a great coach and group of friends to train with. I’m thankful to be surrounded by strong females that support each other and celebrate things other people think are crazy: awesome callused hands, prominent veins, muscle definition, fancy pants, and PRs.
Renae: I am thankful for positive people in my life that keep me on the right track and I am thankful that I have finally learned what it means to be strong! And last but not least I thank God everyday for Jim Laird…He believes in me even when I don’t 🙂
Missy: I’m thankful for getting stronger and having great friends to work out with that “get it” when crazy things like peeing from a great deadlift happen.
Kim: I am thankful for the opportunities being stronger gives me, the moments when I can master something new in training, a coach who believes in female strength, and a team of true friends who believe in each other.
Suzanne: I’m thankful for friends & family that “get me” and haven’t unfriended me on social media as a result of all my many fitness related pictures, videos & posts.
Lizz: I’m thankful for not having achy joints anymore and good friends to work out with.
Emily: I’m thankful for the confidence I’ve found by building physical strength and for the wonderful, unique, fun, silly group of women I’m lucky to have as workout partners and for a coach that’s made it all possible.
