High Bar vs Low Bar

Our question today is from Charles and he wants to know how to determine the best bar position for back squatting. Obviously, we consulted with our coach since this question is way beyond our own knowledge and experience.

Generally speaking, the bar position is determined by your own individual goals. If you are doing Olympic lifting or CrossFit activities, a high bar position is going to be ideal. Low bar position is often times (but not always) used by powerlifters. Low bar is also better for people with poor shoulder mobility. Some experimentation will help you find what works best for you.
