Deadlift Night Workout

It’s no secret we all love deadlift night! Here’s what last night’s work out looked like:

 

Foam rolling and dynamic warm up:

We all work with our favorite PT, Dr. Sarah Martin, and our individual corrective exercises are part of our warm up as well.

Renae- superman dynamic floor warmup

Bear Crawl- approx. 10yds forward and backwards x2

GHR- holding 10lb plate x8x2

Heavy carry x2 or inverted rows x8x2

 

Deadlifts:

While working up to approx. 60%, alternate either incline or flat dumbbell press x8x4

Speed single pulls x12 with focus on explosive power from the floor

Accessory:

Weighted walking lunges x4

Back extension x4

Finisher:

Turkish get ups- 10 singles on each side

Emily, Missy & Kim- TGU finisher

Recovery:

Cross-connect on balance beam
