One of the core exercises I talked about in my blog earlier this week was the “dead bug.” This is such a phenomenal way to engage every part of your core. By bracing circumferentially and keeping your ribs down and back against the floor, you get a great burn all through your midsection. After doing these a few times you might be surprised at how much better your form will be because of your bracing ability. And besides, it’s really awesome to hear someone yell “dead bug” at you before you do your lift!
